LITTLE TOKYO TOWERS APARTMENTS

Little Tokyo Towers was made possible by years of dedicated work of community leaders who recognized the need for subsidized housing for our senior citizens. Non-profit sponsorship by Japanese-American organizations made financing possible under a program of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
An extensive remodeling program has resulted in a design lending to the goal of making the Towers a place of comfort to reside and enjoy. Nutrition food service is available at the Towers in our in-house Restaurant, overlooking our beautiful garden. It has been featured in the Rafu Shimpo and the restaurant section of the LA times.
To further your sense of comfort and well-being, Towers security and professional security services are employed.  Access into the Tower is only possible by use of an electronic device or by telephone command initiated by a resident. Clearly, security is a precept at Little Tokyo Towers.  Also, increased police and citizen’s patrol and the adding of a police substation in Little Tokyo “Toban” have improved security in the area.
A wide range of activities are available in and nearby the Towers.  Shopping, food service, healthcare, churches and temples, major hotels, Little Tokyo service centre etc. are literally “around the corner”.  Just a stroll away is the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center and Theatre, the new Japanese American National museum, and the East-West Players Theater, all with year-long events and productions. The annual Nisei Week festival Tofu Festival and Church carnivals occur without fail.
